Mesarijo je vodil njen sin Fric Zorzini, in sicer do zaplembe premoženja leta 1948. Gostilno so preuredili v restavracijo (Restavracija A. Karničnik) ter ji spremenili zunanjo podobo z dvema velikima oknoma. Mož Apollonie Karničnik je imel trgovino z živino. V kleti so imeli cisterno s črpalko in električnim motorjem. V pritličju, kjer so bile kuhinja, klavnica, mesarija, in v prvem nadstropju kopalnica so imeli napeljano vodo.
V pritličju je v tretji in četrti osi izložbena odprtina z gladkimi okvirji. Pozneje je bilo narejeno dvoosno izložbeno okno. Nadstropna okna imajo rahlo profilirane obrobe s temeniki in segmentnim zaključkom. Povezujeta jih gladka zidca. Okenske police, parapeti in šivani robovi v nadstropju so dodatno poudarjeni. Mejni zidec je gladek, podstrešni pa profiliran.

Slovenj Gradec – House on Main Square 17

(HRN 7974)

This single floor house was originally built at the end of the 18th century. The first owner of the house, which was a farm with a garden at the time, was Ferdinand Schuster in 1872. After that, the house had the following owners: 1876 Maria Schuster, 1878 Franz and Franziska Schumlei, 1893 Franz Hodnig, 1897 Maria Mohar, 1901 Mathias Marth, 1905 Anna Marth, 1907 Anton Ubel and it was purchased by Friderik and Apollonia Zorzini from Slovenska Bistrica after 1909. The same year they also opened a butcher’s shop, which was run by Friderik, and a tavern “Gostilna pri jagnjetu”, which was run by Apollonia. There was a door with a bell between the butcher’s shop and the tavern. After the death of Friderik Zorzini in 1924, the butchery and innkeeping trade was carried on by Apollonia. Later she rented the butcher’s shop (Kuharjeva mesarija) to Anton Kuhar. Around 1930, she re-married with Mr. Karničnik. Until their property was confiscated in 1948, the butcher’s shop was run by her son Fric Zorzini. The tavern was turned into a restaurant (Restavracija A. Karničnik) and two large windows were added to change its exterior. The husband of Apollonia Karničnik owned a livestock shop. In the basement there was a tank with a pump and an electric motor. The ground floor with a kitchen, slaughter room, butchery, and the first floor with a bathroom were both equipped with a plumbing system. After 1948, when the premises were confiscated, the tavern was run by Bojan Debelak. At first it was used to cook food for children. Between 1909 and 1948 the entire estate was owned by the family Zorzini – Karničnik. The land without the building was nationalized in 1960. In the third and fourth axis of the ground floor there is a display opening with a smooth frame. A two-axis shop window was made later. The windows on the upper floors have slightly profiled trims with pediments and a segmental finish. They are connected with two smooth walls. The window sills, parapets and sewn edges on the upper floor are additionally accentuated. The border wall is smooth, while the garret wall is profiled.
